Breaded Toasted Ravioli

This is a fantastic recipe for breaded toasted ravioli. They are wonderful and crunchy but they are baked not fried so you can eat without the guilt.

Ingredients -

1 Egg White
1 Teaspoon Water
1 Cup Bread Crumbs
1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 Teaspoon Dried Basil
2 Tablespoons Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 Package Cheese Ravioli, (25 ounce) , thawed if frozen
Cooking Spray

 
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

2. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet.

3. In a small bowl, beat together the egg white and water.

4. In a large bowl, mix the bread crumbs, oregano, basil, and Parmesan cheese.

5. Dip each ravioli in the beaten egg, and then roll in the bread crumbs.

6. Spray both sides of the breaded ravioli with cooking spray and place on the wire rack.

7. Bake the breaded ravioli in the preheated oven until golden brown and crispy which takes about 15 to 25 minutes.

These baked ravioli are wonderful served with a side of marinara, alfredo sauce and pesto sauce. Not only does it taste great but it’s fun to dip in all three sauces.
